Month-to-month support, no multi-year lock-in. 30 days written notice to cancel or change plans. Pricing is what we quote — no surprise bills, no auto-renewal tricks. Trials and promotional months never convert to paid plans without your explicit opt-in.
The four tiers
Insight support is structured as four monthly tiers — ESSENTIAL, WATCH, MANAGE, RUN. Each tier has its own scope, response SLA, included device count, and price. See the services page for what's included at each level.
You can move between tiers any month as your needs change — see § 04 for how upgrades and downgrades work.
Month-to-month, no multi-year lock-in
All service plans are month-to-month. We don't offer multi-year contracts. The promise is on our website on purpose — it locks us in too, not just you. If our service stops being worth what we're charging, you can walk.
How to cancel
To cancel a service plan, give us 30 days written notice. Email is fine. Service continues through the notice period and stops at the end of the paid month. No termination fee, no early-exit penalty.
Exception: if you signed up under an install promo with a 6-month commitment, see § 06 for how early termination is handled.
Upgrades and downgrades
You can move up or down a tier at any time.
- Upgrades take effect on the next billing cycle and include a one-time scope fee equal to the difference between the prior tier's setup fee and the new tier's setup fee. This covers the additional onboarding scope (deeper documentation, more stakeholder integration, expanded monitoring).
- Downgrades require 30 days written notice and take effect at the end of the notice period.
You opt in. Or service stops.
Service plans are evergreen month-to-month — there's no annual renewal date you might forget to cancel. We're not going to trap you with a date.
Trial periods and promotional months never convert to paid plans without your explicit opt-in. If a promo period ends and you haven't actively chosen to continue, billing stops. We'd rather lose a customer who isn't sure than bill someone who didn't say yes.
The 3-months-free offer
New installs and existing-network takeovers can sign up under our install promo:
- New ESSENTIAL install: 3 months free, no commitment. After month 3 you continue, step up, or stop.
- WATCH on a new install, or ESSENTIAL/WATCH on a takeover: 3 months free with a 6-month commitment — you prepay 3 months at signing and receive a total of 6 months of service.
- MANAGE and RUN plans are not eligible for the install promo and bill from day one.
The 3-month prepayment on a WATCH or takeover commitment is non-refundable. If you terminate service before completing the 6-month commitment, you forfeit the value of any remaining prepaid months — but you owe nothing additional. No buyout calculation, no awkward early-exit invoice.
How and when we adjust pricing
We may adjust ongoing service plan pricing with at least 60 days written notice. You can downgrade or cancel any time before a price change takes effect with no penalty.
Hardware quotes and one-time install fees are fixed at the time we quote them — those don't change retroactively.
Out-of-scope work
Service plans cover monitoring, support, and the configuration-change cadence defined by your tier. They do not include:
- New installs of hardware (quoted separately as a project)
- Structured cabling and low-voltage rough-in
- Net-new gear deployment beyond organic growth (new building, new floor, new property)
- Major network redesign or topology changes
- Third-party integration beyond initial setup (POS, building automation, hospitality PMS)
- End-user training sessions or documentation rewrites for your internal team
- Forensic / security incident response · breach investigation
We always quote out-of-scope work before doing it — no surprise line items, no after-the-fact invoices for work you didn't approve.
Who you actually talk to
We don't outsource support. When you call or email, a person who understands your network answers — not a script-reader, not a ticket-triage queue overseas. As Insight grows there may be more than one person on the other end, but every person handling your account will know your network.
The signed agreement controls
This page summarizes the structure of our service plans in plain English so you can understand what you're agreeing to before you sign anything. The actual contractual terms are in the written engagement agreement signed between you and Insight Unified Solutions.
If there's any inconsistency between this summary and the signed engagement agreement, the signed agreement controls. If something on this page is unclear or you want to confirm a detail before signing, ask — we'll answer plainly.
